The world's fastest hedgehog streaks onto Nintendo DS in Sonic Rush. In this sideways scrolling scramble, Sega's mascot is so incredibly fast you'll need to use both of the DS' two screens to keep up, with both the lower and upper displays combined to portray a single play area. Whizz around brand-new corkscrews, whipping Sonic up, down and all points in between - you can even take the spiky blue 'hog bungee jumping, Sonic plummeting down from one screen to the next. Sonic himself is displayed in 3D, and the boss-battles also switch to fully 3D action as in Sonic Heroes! Play as either Sonic or the mysterious new character Blaze the Cat, a feline queen from a parallel dimension. Search for the powerful Sol Emeralds - but beware, you're not the only one in search of these dangerous jewels. As you progress through the game, the "ripple" effect means that actions you take in Sonic's world will have consequences in the world of Blaze, and vice versa. With stylus controlled mini-games for when you need a break from the main game, Sonic's latest is a real Rush!
