Tiny Toon Adventures 6 is a hack and port for the NES, created in 1997 by Hummer Team (also known as Jing Tay Team, as listed in the credits) and published by the Chinese company J.Y. Company. The original was a monochrome GameBoy game called Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break, released in 1992. Some code, music, and color sprites were taken from the game Tiny Toon Adventures (NES). At the beginning of the game, the player is given six lives and four hearts, while in the original game, only two lives and two hearts are given. Also, several levels are missing from the hack. Unlike the original, characters in the hack can run (as in the game that provided the graphics). The game can be played with three characters, which can be changed during the game: Buster the rabbit, Plaky the duckling, and Hampton the piglet. The sprites for Buster and Plaky are taken from the NES game, while Hampton is from the original game (only recolored). The hack has a second title screen, which is why the game is also known as “Porky Pig & Daffy Duck,” featuring the faces of Hamton and Plucky. Two title screens are a feature of JY Company, but these are not two versions of the game. The screen selection is chosen by the game depending on the hardware switch on the cartridge.
