Wipeout is a futuristic anti‑gravity racing video game originally developed and published by Psygnosis for the original PlayStation. Set in the year 2052, players pilot high‑speed craft in the F3600 racing league across several tracks while using weapons and speed pads to gain advantage. It became well known for its techno soundtrack and stylish design. The original was first released in 1995, then re‑released digitally as a PSOne Classic on the PS3 in 2007.
