This game is a Contra hack that completely alters the level layout, making it much more difficult than the original. The bosses have also been modified. Some bridges in the Jungle level don't explode, and it's difficult to know where to jump out of the water due to the new layout, with certain areas where the player jumps to a different part of the water once they're already in. The Base levels now take up the entire screen, and the objectives have changed, although curiously, the enemies still appear in the same places as in the original. Some objectives are also invisible here for unknown reasons. Weapon targets also fire more frequently than originally. The player now has 5 lives instead of 3, and upon losing a life, they retain the weapon they had when they died. The audiovisual content is the same, except for the title screen, which does not have the Contra logo or Konami copyright. The Base levels also look considerably different, despite using the same tiles. Many have criticized this hack for being almost unplayable due to the new layout. Get ready for a not-so-normal Contra experience, as it will be very difficult!
