Shogun
By Robert Wallace Shogun is a 1-player adventure game for multiple systems. Welcome to Japan. You will lead a force of Samurai to join the attack on Osaka Castle. You will start with a force of 50 men, and must scour the Japanese countryside looking for recruits and the resources you need to conquer the castle. As the player explores, they encounter random combat with enemy troops. The player can engage or retreat from these battles. During battle, the player and enemy forces are displayed on the screen, and combat occurs automatically. The player, if victorious, receives any remaining living enemy forces at the end of battle. Upon visiting the different map locations, the player receives clues and items to help defeat their enemy. They must visit the oracle of the mountain between each location they visit. The player has 365 days to storm the castle.
