Those who heard rumours of the Labyrinth of Etria, whether young or old, began to harbour dreams of exploring it. Riches... fame... prestige... all that and one more thing does the Labyrinth promise: the true spirit of adventure, on the perilous edge of death. This is an adventure not for the faint of heart... If you dare, you’ll explore the massive Yggdrasil Labyrinth from a first-person perspective and fight your way through it with a guild of your own creation. Choose your guild members wisely from the nine available classes, for the Labyrinth is vast and deep, and will put a swift end to unwary explorers. How quickly can you defeat the more than 125 different types of monsters before they call on their brethren – or before even more fearsome creatures join the fray? The key to survival is both a keen fighting sense and master mapmaking skills. Sometimes navigating out of the way of nasties is the key to survival, and a good map will help you avoid falling into the same trap twice. It’s easy to lose yourself in twisting passageways, but your chances of survival increase exponentially when you use the Nintendo DS Touch Screen and stylus to map your surroundings.
