Strike Witches: Silver Wings (Sutoraiku Witchīzu: Hakugin no Tsubasa) is a bullet hell shoot 'em up developed by Cyberfront and Gulty. The game is more specifically a horizontal scrolling twin-stick shooter with 3D models. The story mode is a fully voiced multi-ending scenario where the story changes greatly depending on the battle's results. The player can form a team of 3 Witches out of 13 selectable characters, which are the 501st Joint Fighter Wing members, Takei Junko, and Nakajima Nishiki (available as a DLC). The player controls the leader only, which is the only character who can take hits. The other characters follow automatically the leader. The Leader can be switched freely during the play. Teams can use three formation patterns, and depending on which one is used, it is possible to concentrate firepower or disperse barrages. A magic release "bomb" can also be performed to make the characters invincible for a limited time. The bomb lasts for as long as the player holds the button and there is energy left in the gauge, which recharges automatically over time. The game was released in Japan on July 29, 2010, for Xbox 360. The limited-edition comes with a Yoshika Nendoroid swimsuit version with a training striker and a buoy, as well as a papercraft of the Striker Launch Unit. On June 28, 2012, the game was ported and released on the PSP. Everything in the Xbox 360 version is also available in the PSP version. The PSP limited edition comes with a Lynette Nendoroid swimsuit version with training striker and rifle, as well as a papercraft of the Striker Launch Unit.
