Ironclad (known in Japan as Ch?tetsu Brikinger) is a shoot 'em up video game developed by Saurus for the Neo Geo CD video game console. In 1920, The Kingdom of Choppu, a small country situated on the banks of the Black Sea, is invaded by the neighbording "Republic of Tekkamen" - aka The Iron Masks. The Choppuans have no army, no weapons. They are farmers who survive on the crops they cultivate. They are subjugated, and the ambitious Iron Masks begins a reign of terror, building huge arms factories on the once fertile land. When all hope seems lost, a hero emerges.
