Lose the Heat 3: Highway Hero

Also know as: Lose the Heat 3

Lose the Heat 3: Highway Hero is a 3D arcade driving and vehicular combat browser game developed by Silent Bay Studios and published by Spil Games (via A10.com and Agame.com) on August 3, 2012. Marking a major technical and structural evolution for the franchise, the game transitioned from the Adobe Shockwave engine to the Unity Web Player and replaced the semi-free-roaming city sandbox of the first two installments with high-speed, cross-country linear highway pursuits across the United States. Picking up immediately after the explosive cliffhanger of Lose the Heat 2, the protagonist survives the car bomb planted by the corrupt "Mayor K." (referred to in-game as "Mr. K") and acquires a new heavily modified muscle car. Tracing the kidnapper across five interstate highway stages from Arizona to Washington, D.C., player must outrun relentless state police, dodge missiles fired from attack helicopters and highway overpasses, trigger massive environmental traps, and utilize an allied 18-wheeler support truck to rescue their kidnapped girlfriend.
