Fullscreen Edition gives single-player races a full-screen view, moves the camera closer to the kart and adapts the HUD, banners and effects to the new layout. The map and rear-view mirror are intentionally removed during fullscreen racing; the TT results map is preserved; split-screen remains available for two players. - Wide-horizon camera, enabled by default on all 20 tracks: a more open, higher view with its own horizon, also in the intro, the start zoom and the finish turn. - Select during a race toggles between the new camera and the classic one on the fly. It does nothing in menus. - Backgrounds adapted on all 20 tracks: extended skies with no black bands or colour jumps, upper fills using the tone of the adjacent gradient band, Koopa Beach clouds at all three heights from the starting grid, and clipped Ghost Valley pillars. - The lateral starting-grid correction works from the beginning of the camera approach. The full zoom and orbit remain intact.
