This Hack was born from the feeling that R/S/E lacked what made G/S/C special, that is the sense of continuity, of a bigger interconnected world. At the same time, it was born from a personal need, that is, that I have always liked the concept of Hack Roms that make every Pokémon catchable, but in practice it has always felt to me like something was off, to find some Pokémon far from their imagined habitat has always felt uncanny to me. However, I didn't like the solution of resorting to the Post Game, nobody would replay Emerald straight-forward just for some Post Game content, so as a big fan of Crystal Clear I decided to make all the new areas explorable from the first moment of the game, trivially going down from Littleroot Town towards a small port city that I added, giving a completely new Open World impression to the original Emerald gameplay!
