Pokémon FireRed VR Missions is a challenge-focused ROM hack that departs from the traditional open-world Kanto adventure. Instead of traveling through the region, players face a series of 30 unique stages, each designed with its own specific gimmick, objectives, and limitations. The gameplay emphasizes strategy, puzzle-solving, and creative use of Pokémon moves, similar in concept to the Battle Sim from Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Each stage is carefully crafted to test a player’s ability to think critically with limited resources and unconventional Pokémon teams.
