Resident Evil: True Director's Cut is a fan-made ROM hack for PS1 that creates the "ultimate" version of the 1996 original by combining the best features of various releases. It features uncensored (full-color) cutscenes, the original, non-DualShock soundtrack, and all Director's Cut game modes (Arrange, Beginner, Advanced) Key Features of the "True Director's Cut" Hack: Uncensored Visuals: Restores the bloodier, full-color opening and death scenes from the original Japanese/PC versions. Original Soundtrack: Replaces the divisive, heavily criticized "basement" music from the DualShock release with the original, more atmospheric soundtrack. Arrange Mode & Features: Includes the Director's Cut features such as new camera angles, different enemy placements, and faster character movement.
