This game is a quirky Japanese arcade quiz/variety game developed and published by Video System, released in 1998. Players take on the role of a faceless male protagonist who raises a cute spherical pet called Inufuku (犬福, roughly "Dog Fortune") over the course of a full year, structured as 12 monthly stages. The goal is to nurture Inufuku into one of many evolved forms by making smart choices, acing quizzes, and succeeding at mini-games. At the end of December, Inufuku undergoes a final evolution based on accumulated growth parameters influenced by your performance, food choices, and events. Inufuku is omnivorous and evolves into specialized variants.
