PULSOIDS is an arcade game for one or two players (Alternating). Each player must clear the screen of tiles by deflecting Pulsoids (Energy pulses) off their energy mirror (Bat). Each player starts with one Pulse. However, Aliens also play in this arena, entering from the eye at the top of the screen. If a Pulsoid collides with it, the alien will be destroyed and the Pulsoid will split into two. Bonuses also fall for some tiles that are destroyed. Collect them to earn extra power-ups and increase your score. The game was written by Jonathan 'Twilighte' Bristow, based on the Mastertronic game released for the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum machines. It was released simultaneously by both Club Europe Oric and Rhetoric.
