Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure is a two-dimensional side-scrolling platform game developed by Apogee Software and released in mid-March 1992 for MS-DOS compatible systems. The game follows the story of Cosmo, a young alien boy who is en route to Disney World with his parents when their ship is struck by a comet, forcing an emergency landing on an uncharted planet. While his parents repair the ship, Cosmo explores the alien world, but upon returning, he discovers they are missing, leaving behind large footprints that suggest they may have been captured and are in danger of being eaten. The player controls Cosmo as he embarks on a rescue mission across three episodes, each containing ten alien-themed levels
