You begin by choosing from one of five different ship types, and then set out as a trader — buying goods, navigating between bustling ports, and managing cargo to build your fortune. As you sail the open seas in real time, the map comes alive: other ships glide across the water, and friendly ports offer the chance to establish factories to produce one of sixteen different goods. But trade is only one way to dominate the waters. You may also turn to piracy — plundering enemy ships, engaging in real‑time sea battles, and claiming captured vessels for yourself if they survive the fight.
