Quondam
Quondam is a text adventure game in the typical style of the time. The player moves from location to location and can interact with the objects and entities found there. The player types commands to do so. Each room and action is described in text only. The player's goal is to find treasure, which is worth points. The setting is somewhat bizarre, mixing modern and magical elements. Many entities in the game can lead to an untimely death. These include a dragon that sets the player on fire, a dehydrating desert, a hungry customs official, spiders, fantastical fungi, and a spoiled sandwich.
