Better Not Get Wet, Jesse Bear
Story by Nancy White Carlstrom. Illustrations by Bruce Degen. Hey! Hey! Getting wet is okay- for everyone but Jesse Bear. Despite Mama's and Papa's repeated warnings, Jesse Bear cannot resist getting wet. He helps a goldfish flap about, a blackbird take a bath, a brown worm play a puddle song, and a green frog hop and plop. Only after getting home from their walk, do Mama and Papa decide that it is okay for a young bear to splash about on a fine summer day.
