Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the critically acclaimed role-playing game available only on the Nintendo Switch system, is getting major new updates through the Expansion Pass. In addition to the new items, new quests and new Rare Blades that will aid players in the main game and that have already been released, owners of this paid DLC will now be able to play the brand-new Challenge Battle Mode, which is available for download starting June 14. This additional battle mode will test players’ skills with new battle rules in challenging new scenarios that highlight minor story elements and bring the characters Shulk and Fiora from the original Xenoblade Chronicles into the Nintendo Switch game for the very first time as new Rare Blades. Expansion Pass owners will also gain access to a new story mode entitled “Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country”. In this new mode, uncover the full history of Jin and the fall of his homeland that took place 500 years before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The newly refined combat system lets you take control of both Driver and Blades as you explore a new Titan, the Kingdom of Torna. Australian Classification: M
