You can explore the fun of two video games in a single Sony PlayStation demo disc. As part of the Official PlayStation Magazine, Vol. 41, the playable Crash Bash demo and Spyro: Year of the Dragon demo can make it easy to switch between PS1 games without having to get up out of a comfortable chair to change the demo disc in the PlayStation gaming system. Each demo version includes three levels of the official PS1 game. The bright orange label helps to keep track of the game disc so that a search does not have to occur by getting misplaced underneath a book, magazine, or paperwork after the disc is removed from the PS1. Crash Bash is a PlayStation game filled with battles, tournaments, and arena adventures. It is a struggle of good versus bad between two witch doctors. Aku Aku is the protector of all things good while Uka Uka is his evil brother. The characters of choice are Crash Bandicoot, Coco, Tiny, Dingodile, Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Brio, Koala Kong, and Rilla Roo. Crash Bandicoot’s speed, intelligence, and agility gives him the ability to conquer challenges quickly and efficiently. His sister, Coco, has inherited the same skill set and keeps close to her polar bear friend. Dingodile has a crocodile tail that is powerful enough to strike down opponents. Tiny is a tiger with a throwing force that saves the day. Dr. Neo Cortex sees the world as his own at all costs and uses his laser cannon tank to prove it. His partner, Dr. N. Brio, is unstoppable with his laser and his skill in long tank shots. Rilla Roo keeps to his own pace and attacks with unexpected force with his tail. Koala Kong was created by Dr. Neo Cortex, complete with kicking and throwing power that does not fail to hide his strength. In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Spyro and his allies must find all the dragon eggs that the evil sorceress has stolen and hidden across multiple forgotten worlds. There are mini quests to complete, special skills to learn for challenges, and speedways for racing. Posts of accomplishments are recorded in the Atlas to help keep track of what has been completed and what remains. Even posts to keep count of gems earned can be found in the Atlas. As expected with an official PlayStation game, variety is a factor in the fun as game playing includes controlling Spyro and his allies from other worlds. Sheila the Kangaroo hops, jumps, kicks, and stomps to stay alive. Sergeant Byrd is a penguin that flies with air missiles on his shoulders. Bentley the Yeti carries a big club and uses it with success when necessary. Agent 9 is a lab monkey turned special operative with skills in laser blasters and explosives. You can play this Official PlayStation Magazine demo sampler of Crash Bash and Spyro: Year of the Dragon and share the experience with the PlayStation video game community through online posts or a favorite magazine. You can check for posts with follow up questions to send a message with any gaming results that need to be shared. You can send a message to friends who find enjoyment each time they receive a demo game disc that comes with the Official PlayStation Magazine. PlayStation demo discs can give a glimpse into what video game fun lies ahead. You can mix up a collection of PlayStation video games by adding the Crash Bash demo and Spyro: Year of the Dragon demo disc.
